SCOTT PAK TRACKER ![]()
Locate downed fireman with the Scott Pak-Tracker.
Pak-Tracker transmitters (carried on fireman) can be an integral part of your Scott Air-Pak, built right into the Pass Alarm circuit (see picture below) or they can be stand alone units as shown in the picture on the left. The integral Pak-Tracker transmitters turn on automatically when you charge your cylinder. The stand alone transmitters turn on when the magnetic lanyard is pulled as the transmitter is removed from the truck. Pak-Tracker Questions and Answers Click Here Locate a trapped or downed first responder within a single or multi-story structure quickly and safely with the Scott Pak-Tracker locator system. Available as a stand-alone system deployed with or without an SCBA or integrated into a Scott Air-Pak® Fifty™ or Air-Pak® NxG2™ SCBA. The rugged, simple to use system functions on the principle of 2.4GHz RF signal strength received and is an invaluable additional tool for search and rescue operations.
The Scott Health and Safety Pak-Tracker transmitter can be built
right into your Air-Paks. When the cylinder is charged
the transmitter turns on automatically along with your Pass Alarm.
No Lanyards, clips or separate batteries to maintain and nothing to
lose at the scene.
Paks fitted with the integral Pak-Tracker Fireman Locater have red colored sound emitter covers, on the Pass Alarm module. Adding this option when purchasing a new Air-Pak is a negligible cost adder. Upgrading to your Air Paks with Integral Pak-Tracker Transmitters can be done in the field or you can purchase the stand alone transmitter (about the size of a large beeper)
